Societies of Mayflower Descendents
SOCIETY OF MAYFLOWER DESCENDANTS OF MINNESOTA
The General Society of Mayflower Descendants is located in Plymouth, Massachusetts. On December 11, 1931, a Charter was issued by the General Society of Mayflower Descendants for the formation of the Society of Mayflower Descendants in the State of Minnesota. Click on the website to learn more about our parent organization and the Mayflower, its passengers, and its history.
STATE SOCIETIES OF MAYFLOWER DESCENDANTS
Membership as a Mayflower descendant is through membership in one of the state societies or affiliates. Each of the fifty United States, the District of Columbia and Canada has a society. Larger states are subdivided into colonies located in different parts of the state for the convenience of members’ attending functions. Like other states, we operate independently while being governed by values and policies of the General Society of Mayflower Descendants.
